The Veteran's Day Pancake Breakfast has been canceled due to the low turnout we had at the Grandparent's Day Pancake Breakfast.

We will wait until next year before another one is schedule.

Thank you to all who participated in the past!

I have heard that the U.S. flag has not flown over the clubhouse since the 1990's and that really surprised me.

Well, the flagpole has been painted and the parts have been purchased to restore and fly the U.S.Flag over the clubhouse once again. The LA County Fire Dept has agreed to hang the flag and to make sure that everything is in working order so I will make arrangements with them to do this next week.

But then the flag will be lowered again because, to make things more fun, we're going to have an "official" flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the raising of the flag after all of this time has passed!

Check back for more details regarding the date and time of this special event. You are all invited to attend!

For those of you who missed the LGCA Casino Night--you missed a great event!

The hall was decorated fabulously and the food was absolutely delicious!! (Thank you to Sam Rushing and Chef Rudolph for providing the mouth-watering appetizers!)

The bar was well-stocked with wine, beer, martinis, soft drinks and water--we even had servers come by for your drink orders! Thank you to Chris Martinez and Steve for bar tending throughout the evening.

Music was provided by the talented keyboardist, David Rosales, who entertained the players poolside while the gaming tables were open.

Our prize table was beautifully decorated by Tiffany Rodriguez and Joe Salazar Jr. and we had a LOT of prizes to give out! Almost everyone went home with something wonderful.

Thank you so much for the volunteers who helped set up before the event (Damaris Peredia, Trudy Cimino, Joe Salazar Jr., and Laura Havlik) and/or clean up after it was over. We couldn't have done it without your help!!

If you ever get an opportunity to attend an LGCA Casino Night event--don't miss out! You won't be sorry!

Hi everyone! Our first LGCA Casino Royale Night is this Saturday! We are so excited to be putting on this fundraiser with a James Bond 007 theme!

The Roulette and Craps tables will be set up outside in the pool area to take advantage of cool evening breezes, while the Blackjack table will still be inside (the main hall) so that any breeze blowing through won't blow away any cards.

We'll have a red carpet rolled out for this event and the check-in area will be in front of the large/main hall.

Inside the Main Hall will also be the bar serving Martini's (shaken--not stirred), assorted beer and wine, soft drinks, and bottled water.

Appetizers will be served during the 5pm - 6pm Cocktail Hour--you don't want to miss out on these delicious treats!

There are still a few tickets available to this event (we are only offering 100 tickets for sale) so if you would like to attend, you may purchase online with a credit card, or you may register for the event and pay by cash or check (your tickets will be held at the Will Call section of the Check In table.) Just make your payment with the cashier there.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Below is the front view of the beautification rendition drawing:

And here's a rendition drawing of the pool area: (Sorry, I only had the pdf file and not a jpeg file.)

Note: The grass area by the pool is not going to be actual grass, but artificial turf instead.
