Use your Access Cards responsibly when you come to the Clubhouse!

Only LGCA Members are authorized to use the LGCA Access Cards (not family, friends, or neighbors who are NOT LGCA members). Be sure to clean up after yourself and to turn off water, lights and lock doors when you leave.

Important Notes:

All attendees must register in advance so we can properly plan for lifeguard coverage, snacks, and accommodations. We will not be able to accept any same-day registrations. There is an option to indicate whether you will attend but decline to participate in the water activities.
Small children must be accompanied in the pool or kept within arm's reach at all times for safety purposes.

Event Time: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Attire: Swim attire (photos will be taken). Please bring a towel, sunscreen, floaties for small children, and a swim cap if needed.

11:45 am – 12:15 pm: Participant Check-In

12:15 pm – 12:30 pm: Welcome

12:30 pm – 01:00 pm: Water Safety Instructions

01:00 pm – 01:15 pm: Transition to the Pool

01:15 pm – 02:45 pm: In-Water Safety Activities & Fun

02:45 pm – 03:00 pm: Event Wrap-up & Closing

(Lifeguard will not be available after the closing of the water safety event.)

About us

Lakewood Gardens Civic Association is a voluntary membership in a community clubhouse in Lakewood Gardens. It is also the oldest homeowner's association in California and draws its members from the 452 homes built in Lakewood Gardens. We've been proudly serving the Lakewood Gardens community through a historical chain of caring volunteers since 1948!!

The clubhouse consists of a small front lounge with kitchen, a fireplace, and a bathroom; a larger main hall with a small stage, a bar area, two bathrooms; and an outdoor pool area with a large swimming pool, tables, and chaise lounge chairs. The clubhouse is available for a Discounted Member Rental Rate to members in good standing.

Clubhouse rentals are also available to non-members at Lakewood Resident and Non-Lakewood Resident rental rates. See Clubhouse Rental tab for more details and rental applications.

Clubhouse Hours: 10AM to 10PM daily. (Subject to clubhouse rental times. If the clubhouse is rented, members can still swim in the pool until 2pm.)
